Leia had another birthday party this past weekend. We always make sure that she is able to go to them, even though they are getting expensive. :/ :) With it being so difficult to live in Åmål at times, since we don't come from here, we are happy (and excited) when Leia is invited to a party, so we always schedule around them so that she can attend. The friend whose party she atteneded will actually be in her school class starting this Fall. It was a costume party, so Leia dressed up in the same cheerleader outfit that she wore for Halloween this past year. It was easier than planning another outfit on such short notice. Leia had a great time at the party. :)

I actually have 2 of the cheerleader outfits in 2 different sizes. In the Halloween picture she is wearing the smaller size (6 year) and in the birthday party pictures she is wearing the bigger size (8 year). The 6 year was just too small for her (the skirt was too short).
Scary to think that she is getting closer to 6 years old. Sure, she just did reach 5½ but it is going by way too fast. :( She's my baby girl. I try to tell myself that I won't be one of those crazy, stereotypical (American?) mothers that goes crazy when their child leaves home for good. But I have a bad feeling about how that will go. :P
